This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Interior – Senior Interior Designer with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the high-end home renovation arena. Our client is a well-established boutique firm with a strong sense of who they are and what works! Collaboration, communication, approachability and trust are at the cornerstone of their business. For the right person this will be an AMAZING opportunity – but it’s not for the faint of heart!


Experienced – you have a strong background (ideally a minimum of 8 years) in Canadian interior design, specifically in high-end home renovations, extensive knowledge of construction, familiarity with mechanical, electrical, and structural permits and relevant building codes

Educated – You have a degree or diploma in Interior Design.

A strong communicator – with, not only, the ability to relay your design ideas to the client so they comprehend your vision, but also with a knack for the “sales” aspect of the job.

Organized – you will have multiple projects running concurrently so you need to be able to stay on top of the priorities.

People skills – you will be outward/client facing so diplomacy and relationship building will be in your back pocket at all times.

Creative thinking – you are known for your innovative and creative design ideas and for your ability to integrate those with the clients vision.

High Standards – the status quo is NOT where you reside! You dream of being surrounded by beautiful design, great clients and being able to impact the dreams of your clients.

Passionate – you live, eat, breathe interior design, new concepts and state of the art/innovative design.

Quoting & Budgeting – these will be part of your role, so having had experience with both will set you up for further success.

Software skills/knowledge – AutoCAD, Sketchup, Photoshop, InDesign, Excel


  • Lead Designer role with new and existing client meetings; recording information, taking measurements, providing creative insight to clients, developing trust and rapport.
  • Inside Sales ability to meet with new clients and onboard them
  • Work independently and collaboratively on design projects
  • Develop and maintain client relationships and rapport
  • Compile information pertaining to client projects, schedules, specifications and quoting
  • Prepare and update budgets throughout project
  • Assist with project coordination
  • Consult on space planning, architectural detail, furnishings and millwork layouts, material and finish specifications, art accessories, custom features
  • Source products and materials for fabrics, hard finishes, case goods, and lighting
  • Track and records project change orders (Project Management)
  • Liaise with installers, trades and construction personnel and conduct onsite job inspections
  • Deliver on professional Customer Experience, determining needs and developing creative solutions
