Residential Sales/Leasing Representative – Calgary, AB

Our client is a leader in Seniors’ Living servicing the Calgary community. They pride themselves on providing a cross-section of living options all within their professionally managed buildings. As a result of growth they are looking for a Sales/Leasing Representative to join their team!

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining the client data-base (CRM) and following up on leads, delivering on measurable sales objectives (leasing of suites) and creating a strong waitlist environment (building relationships based on caring and genuineness)
  • Developing and building partnership opportunities based on referrals from outside stakeholders
  • Qualifying prospective residents and effectively match our clients’ services to their specific needs
  • Leasing and showing of suites through in-person and virtual tours (the ability and willingness to conduct these tours outside of regular business hours may be necessary)
  • Marketing of available suites – this will include coordinating leasing-related signage, staging of show suites and staging for marketing videos and photoshoots
  • Maintaining awareness of safety protocols, emergency responses, outbreak management and infection, prevention & control (IPC) protocols as it relates to tours, move-ins and open-houses
  • Implementing the use of social media channels to promote the organization
  • Completing daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in business, sales, marketing, hotel/hospitality or three years sales experience focused on seniors/retirement rentals or hotel/hospitality setting.
  • Excellent communication skills and good negotiation skills that inspire trust and confidence in the potential client and their families
  • Must possess strong customer services skills, basic financial knowledge of revenue and business forecasting
  • Effectively utilize MS Office Suite applications such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook – Strong knowledge of all technology including electronic file management skills
  • Strong analytical skills to trend leasing/sales data and provide recommendations for change when needed
  • Strong organizational skills including self-directed and independent ability to create processes and outcome plans without direction
  • Must be naturally enterprising and goal orientated with a proactive, self-disciplined attitude toward effective sales and business sustainability
  • Positive, energetic personality and demonstrates empathy for residents and prospects
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize to meet tight deadlines easily
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for travel within Calgary and surrounding areas
  • Flexibility and ability to respond to a variety of changing duties, work routines and after work hours including evenings and weekends.
  • Must have a clear Criminal Background Check
  • Must be able to lift and transfer marketing materials (25 lbs +) and prepare for community events
