Our client, a large financial institution located downtown Calgary is in search of a Receptionist. The successful candidate will act as the Receptionist for the office by providing front-line service to clients and guests, as well as assisting with administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Answers telephone calls at the reception desk, forwards calls, takes messages, welcomes clients and directs them appropriately
  • Boardroom clean up/set up
  • Ensuring Reception and other common areas are clean and tidy
  • Ordering office/kitchen supplies
  • Arranging catering as required for internal & external meeting
  • Managing all boardroom bookings
  • Process invoice payments and communicate with Account Payable to ensure timely & accurate payment to vendors
  • Liaising with property management/facilities partners as needed
  • Act as the backup to assist with in any administrative duties
  • Contribute to the preparation of documentation and marketing materials as requested by using Word and Excel
  • Exude utmost professionalism and provide excellent client service

  • Any other related administrative duties as required


  • 1-2 years of receptionist/administrative experience with preference for financial services 
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook 
  • Detail oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills 
  • Must be a team player 
  • Proven ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines is essential 
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment 
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills
