Project Manager – Calgary, AB

The Project Manager is responsible for the planning, execution, control and completion of projects. They will monitor budgets, resource/employee time allocation and scheduling, ensuring projects progressing on time and within budget.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Lead, plan and implement projects as assigned
  • Work closely with sales team to maintain and strengthen client relations; this includes preparing documents for client presentations/
  • Define project scope, resource requirements, goals, deliverables and set the timeline
  • Develop full scale project plans
  • Manage project budget
  • Provide direction and support to project team
  • Ensure Quality assurances are in place and being followed for the duration of each project
  • Monitor project progress and ensure timely reporting stakeholders

 Education and Experience

  • Project Management Certification or PMP designation would be an asset
  • 5 years’ experience in project management capacity
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills
  • Established track record of successfully managing a variety of staff
  • An innate strategic and critical thinker – ability to problem solve with little guidance
  • Knowledge of risk management, and change management
  • Proficiency in project management software an asset
