Our client is an industry leader in implementing successful sales events for the automotive industry. Through the provision of comprehensive sales training and effective database marketing, our client plans, prepares, and executes sales events at dealerships worldwide. From detailed dealership analysis to the design and distribution of personalized marketing collateral, our client assists dealerships to maximize their sales potential by teaching them how to effectively manage the sales cycle and facilitate as positive experience for all.

As the Marketing & Event Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for a portfolio of accounts, develop and maintain dealer relationships, and work to achieve targeted sales objectives. You’re a team player who facilitates inter-company relationships with Business Development, Data Technicians, and Graphic Designers to assist in the preparation of private sales events.

Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Book private sales events to achieve targeted sales objectives
  • Engage dealerships to identify opportunities to increase sales, design successful private sale packages, and follow up on the success of each program
  • Provide clients with information and opportunities to increase dealership sales
  • Present and sell additional product and service offerings
  • Identify opportunities and/or challenges where sales process can be improved for efficiency, or to create and increase leads and sales for clients

Customer Service

  • Work with the internal team of data technicians, production team, digital team, and graphic designers to ensure programs meet client expectations
  • Develop an agreement with clients on the scope of work for an event
  • Follow up to ensure a successful private sale event
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to maximize business results
  • Respond to and manage customer inquiries and problems in a timely manner


  • Follow AR processes and procedures for a private sale
  • Lead by example to showcase positive company culture
  • Perform promotional calls directly related to special programs offered by the company for current clients
  • Answer basic invoicing questions


Education & Experience

  • University degree is an asset, but not required
  • A balanced mix from education and experience is ideal
  • Preferably 3 years of successful sales and/or customer service experience along with any post- secondary education
  • Experience in preparing and delivering professional presentations or proposals
  • General knowledge of the automotive sales industry is an asset, but not required

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office; including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Recognize and act on sales opportunities when communicating with clients
  • Connect and build rapport with clients by actively listening, asking the right questions, and offering solutions (products and services) that cater to dealership needs
  • Manage a project through to completion with effective organization and time management
  • Exceptional analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills
  • Self-motivated, proactive, persistent, and driven to succeed
  • Demonstrated professionalism with a positive attitude
  • Strong networking and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain internal and external relationships


You’ll spend most of your time engaging with a fun team that enjoys listening to music together, living an active healthy lifestyle, and volunteering in the local community. Most of your time will be spent in a relaxed office environment where you can look forward to hearing terribly funny jokes. There will be occasional light lifting to move products or displays. Working away from the office or outside of normal hours may be sporadically required to attend sales events, meetings, and related duties.
